Tis’ the Holiday season and that can only mean one thing… It’s time to blare Hanson’s ‘Snowed In’ all month long. Lucky for us, Hanson is on tour celebrating with a mix of their two Christmas albums and, well, their whole discography. The Wintry Mix tour recently made a stop at Atlanta’s Buckhead Theatre bringing the Christmas cheer, a little bit of nostalgia, and lots of energy.
Joshua & The Holy Rollers kicked things off hot and heavy with a tune from their new EP, Patience. A few guitar riffs and hip shakes later, the band treated us to a rare performance of their soulful, ‘Humble Pie’. Keeping the night flowing, Paul McDonald took the stage with his cowboy hat and feel-good sound.
As Hanson walked onto the stage the SOLD OUT Theatre roared. From ‘Merry Christmas Baby’ and ‘Joy to the Mountain’ in a capella, to ‘Mmmbop’ and an unreleased track, fans were treated to a set list sure to please all.
